The directory

The Purple Book helps people find and support small businesses. Listings are reviewed before they appear, but we don't guarantee the accuracy of listing details, hours, or the quality of any business's products or services. Please check with a business directly before you visit or hire.

Accounts

You're responsible for keeping your login safe and for what happens on your account. Give accurate information when you sign up or submit a business.

Membership

• Membership costs $3.99 per month or $47 per year and unlocks ratings, the job board, and Home Services contact details.
• Memberships renew automatically until you cancel. You can cancel any time from My Account; you'll keep access until the end of the period you paid for.
• Payments already made are not refunded, unless the law requires it.

Community rules

• Rate businesses honestly, based on your own experience.
• No false, hateful, discriminatory, or harassing content.
• Only submit businesses and job posts you have the right to share.

We may remove content or close accounts that break these rules.

Limits

The Purple Book is provided "as is." To the extent the law allows, The Good News Co. isn't liable for losses from using the site or dealing with listed businesses.

Changes

We may update these terms. We'll post the new version here with a new date.
